Senate Bill # 550 - Traveling Across County Lines to Commit a Felony Offense

This bill provides an additional third degree felony for the act of traveling across county lines with the intent to commit a felony offense. The bill specifically includes trafficking in a controlled substance as provided in s. 893.135, F.S., in addition to 13 other felonies.
This bill also amends s.903.046, F.S., adding the crime to the factors a court must consider in determining whether to release a defendant on bail or other considerations.
